Drifter Braid Bracelet – Build Your Own Leather Kit
One leather strap, pre-slit into three strands, that braids into a solid plait with both ends still joined. No stitching, no tools and no glue: about 30–45 minutes from strap to bracelet. Cut by hand in my workshop in Cornwall.
In the kit
- 1 pre-cut, pre-slit full-grain veg-tan strap, 15mm wide, with screw holes
- 1 brass Chicago screw (5mm post), tightened with a coin
- Illustrated braiding guide
Sizes
- Small: fits wrists 14.5–16cm (17.5cm inside length finished)
- Medium: fits wrists 16–17.5cm (19cm inside length finished)
- Large: fits wrists 17.5–19cm (20.5cm inside length finished)
Not sure of your size? Wrap a strip of paper snugly round your wrist, mark it and measure the length.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?
I make everything in small batches, and most of it is hand-dyed, so the colour and grain are never 100% identical. That's the character of real leather. If you'd like a shade lighter, darker or a different colour, just drop me a message.
