I started CraftyDrifters early in 2025 after a walking accident left my mobility a bit wonky. I needed to find something meaningful I could do while working sitting down.
One day, out and about, I reached for my wallet and realised it was in tatters: edges fraying, worn thin, clearly past its best. Instead of heading back down the market for another forgettable wallet, I decided to try making one myself. I wanted something that would last and, more importantly, something I actually liked.
That first wallet turned into CraftyDrifters.
How I make them
Every piece is cut, stitched and finished by hand, by me, here in Cornwall. No factory, no team. I work in full-grain, veg-tan and waxy pull-up leathers, plus a small range in Italian Badalassi leather for the premium pieces. Every hide is different, so no two wallets come out quite the same, and they all darken and soften with use.
Made to last, and I'll stand behind it
If the leather or stitching on one of my pieces ever fails, I'll repair it. That's a lifetime repair warranty, and you've got 30 days to send anything back, no questions asked.
