Hi, my name is Mark.
I started CraftyDrifters early in 2025 after a walking accident left my mobility a bit wonky. I needed to find something meaningful that I could do while working sitting down.
One day, while out and about, I reached for my wallet and realised it was in tatters—its edges fraying, worn thin, and clearly past its best. Instead of heading back down the market to replace it with another forgettable wallet, I decided to try making one myself. I wanted something that would last, and more importantly, something I actually liked.
So here we go.
Frequently asked questions
Can I request custom stitching or personalised stamping?
Yes. Because I make in small batches, custom leather colours, contrast thread and initial stamping are often possible. Email me at shop@craftydrifters.co.uk before you order and we'll work it out. Personalised pieces can't be returned unless they arrive faulty.
Are these genuinely handmade by a single maker?
Yes. Every wallet, card holder, and pouch is cut, bevelled and hand-stitched by me in my small Cornwall workshop. Nothing is mass-produced or outsourced to a factory overseas.
How much is delivery and how long does it take?
UK delivery is free on orders over £25. Under £25 it's £3.50, sent Royal Mail Tracked 48. Orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours, and you'll get tracking by email when your parcel ships.
Will my order look identical to the picture?
I make everything in small batches—usually in twos and threes. As 90% of what I make is hand-dyed, the colour or pattern is never 100% identical. This should be seen as unique character rather than a flaw. If you would prefer a shade lighter, darker, or in a completely different colour, simply drop me a message.
Do you take bespoke or custom orders?
I am always up for a challenge! Drop me a message and let's have a chat.
What does the Lifetime Guarantee cover?
If the leather or stitching on one of my veg-tan, full-grain or pull-up leather pieces ever fails, I'll repair it for as long as you own it. It doesn't cover the chrome-tanned metallic glasses case and tobacco pouches. Full details are on the Lifetime Repair Warranty page.
What is the return policy?
Veg-tan, full-grain and pull-up leather pieces come with no-questions 30-day returns. Chrome-tanned items can be returned within 30 days if unused. Email shop@craftydrifters.co.uk to start a return. Your normal legal rights always apply.
