Overview
Welcome to CraftyDrifters Cornwall. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CraftyDrifters Cornwall, a small handmade leather goods business based at 12 Ashley Close, Penwithick, Cornwall, PL26 8UB, United Kingdom. We operate this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify.

These terms, together with the policies referred to in them (these “Terms”), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services. By using the Services you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

1. Access and account
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree that the information you give us (such as your email address, billing and delivery details) is correct, current and complete. You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and for activity on your account.

2. Our products
Every item is handmade, so small variations in leather grain, colour, markings and stitching are a natural part of each piece and are not faults. We make every effort to show our products accurately, but colours may look slightly different depending on your screen. We may change product descriptions or discontinue products at any time, and may limit quantities.

3. Orders
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we email you to confirm your order has been accepted or dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is out of stock or a pricing error has occurred); if we do, we will tell you and refund any payment in full. Returns and exchanges are handled under our Refund Policy.

4. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Prices and promotions may change, but the price you pay is the price shown when you place your order. Payment is taken at the time of ordering through our secure checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.

5. Delivery
Delivery details, charges and estimated timescales are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates. Items are your responsibility once they have been delivered to the address you gave us. If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time, please contact us.

6. Your right to cancel
For most items you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, in addition to our own 30-day returns offer described in our Refund Policy. This right does not apply to items made to your specification or clearly personalised (for example, items stamped with initials), unless they are faulty.

7. Faulty items
If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under UK consumer law. Please contact us with your order number and a photo. Our Lifetime Repair Warranty on veg-tan, full-grain and pull-up leather items is in addition to these rights.

8. Intellectual property
All content on the Services, including text, photographs, designs, patterns, logos and graphics, belongs to CraftyDrifters Cornwall or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Digital patterns and kits are for your personal use only and may not be copied, resold or shared without our written permission. Shopify’s name and logo are trademarks of Shopify.

9. Third-party tools and links
The Services may include tools or links provided by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites or services, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

10. Relationship with Shopify
CraftyDrifters Cornwall is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with CraftyDrifters Cornwall. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and CraftyDrifters Cornwall, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with CraftyDrifters Cornwall.

11. Privacy
Personal information we collect is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law. Some personal information may also be processed by Shopify under Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

12. Reviews and feedback
If you send us feedback or post a review, you allow us to use, reproduce and display it (for example, on our website) free of charge. Reviews must be honest and must not be unlawful, offensive or misleading. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

13. Errors
We try to keep information on the Services accurate, but occasionally there may be errors in descriptions, pricing or availability. We may correct errors and, where an obvious pricing error affects your order, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

14. Acceptable use
You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the Services, introduce viruses or malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape or harvest data, or use the Services to harass anyone or send spam. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

15. Our liability to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for any business losses, as our products are for personal and household use. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law, including your statutory rights.

16. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal disruption, severe weather or supplier problems. If this happens we will let you know and, where appropriate, offer a refund.

17. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will still apply. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. These Terms and the policies referred to in them form the entire agreement between you and us. We may transfer our rights under these Terms to another business; you may not transfer yours without our consent.

18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, and the version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
