Drifter Glasses Case – Build Your Own Leather Kit
Make your own leather glasses case from a single piece: one fold, one seam. The back rises higher than the front with a rounded top, so your glasses slip in easily and stay covered. Every part is cut and punched by hand in my workshop in Cornwall, so there's no cutting, no punching and no glue.
In the kit
- 1 pre-cut, pre-punched full-grain veg-tan leather piece, with fold line
- 110cm waxed polyester thread (0.6mm)
- 2 blunt harness needles
- Illustrated step-by-step guide

- Level: Easy
- Finished size: about 74mm wide, 140mm tall at the front and 180mm at the back
- Holds: one pair of glasses
- Build time: 1–1.5 hours
- Seams: 1
You'll also want 2–4 small binder clips or clothes pegs, small scissors and a flat table.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?
I make everything in small batches, and most of it is hand-dyed, so the colour and grain are never 100% identical. That's the character of real leather. If you'd like a shade lighter, darker or a different colour, just drop me a message.
